MONTES Cabernet Sauvignon 2005
designation: Alpha
vineyard: N/A
region: Chile
review date:
2007-06-11

The 2005 Montes made from 70% Cabernet and 30% Carmenère is a full bodied and fulfilling wine that outclasses most others well over twenty dollars; price aside this wine has a lot going for it. Big ripe berry aromas mingle with tobacco and spice. As the wine touches your palate, the tongue says thanks and just as the last of your sip drips off and down your throat, you will want to start the experience over again very soon. This is a great wine highlighting what the judicial addition of quality Carmenère can do for the overall package. Treat yourself to a great meal and this wine (MDME).
