ARROWOOD VINEYARDS Cabernet Sauvignon 2002
designation: Sonoma County
vineyard: N/A
region: California - Sonoma
review date:
2006-02-12

The 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma produced by Arrowood is a standout from this vintage. A deep ruby purple colored wine with flavors of black currant and blackberry fruit infused with a smoky, earthy finesse. Exhibiting a large structure and full body, this wine possesses wonderful ripeness and delightfully layered flavors with a velvety texture that concludes in a long and lingering finish that makes you wish the bottle would stay filled forever. This is a big gun of a wine that will hold up at any competitive showdown, say perhaps your in-laws thanksgiving dinner or any occasion where you need a wine that will impress.
