SAGELANDS Merlot 2002
designation: Four Corners
vineyard: N/A
region: Washington
review date:
2006-06-10

Hot days and cold nights - sounds like a blues song, so we guess Sagelands merlot has some real soul. Consisting of 94% Merlot, 2% Syrah and 4% Cabernet, this Sagelands "Four Corners" Merlot has distinctive eucalyptus, blackberry and ripe fruit. Although slightly tannic, this wine is velvety and possesses characteristics unlike typical merlots, which tend to be more herbaceous and less distinctive. Drink now or hold through 2007.
